Tim Tebow Has A Hard Time Caring What You Think About Him
By Jay Busbee | November 21, 2007
In preparation for this weekend’s always-bloody Florida-Florida State matchup, several Florida State players are trying hard to get into Gator God Tim Tebow’s head:
Florida State linebacker Geno Hayes invited the wrath of Florida Gator fans on Monday, boldly predicting that “Tim Tebow’s going down” when the rivals meet in the regular-season finale for both teams. “The bigger they are the harder they fall,” Hayes said. “Hopefully we can go out there and shatter his dream.”
Little late for that, Geno. The guy’s a deity in Gainesville. Plus, he gives us another chance to run that picture there at right. And FSU’s going to have to bring more game to the field than comments like this:
[FSU Defensive Coordinator Mickey] Andrews was asked if he had a plan to stop Tebow. “Yeah, but you get put into jail for it,” Andrews teased.
Since when is a major college program worried about jail time? Come on, Noles, bring the HEAT!
And if Tebow loses, well, at least he’s got a spot to rest his weary head.
