When You’re Drunk, Rain Delays Are Your Friend. (When You’re Drunk, EVERYTHING Is Your Friend.)
By Jay Busbee | July 19, 2007
So we were at the Braves game Saturday night, hanging in right field, when the heavens opened up and dropped, like, a LOT of rain right on us. Since we had three little kids in tow — our two plus the neighbor’s boy, who snuck into the car hobo-style as we were rolling out of the driveway — we couldn’t exactly hang and ride the rain delay out on a raft of cheap beer. Good to see that others did, however, and we’re fairly certain the clown in the Francoeur jersey was the one “mock”-hitting on our eight-year-old daughter. To the chair with him, boys!
